Sample Story: The Green Woman of Kittlerumpit
The story of the Goodwife of Kittlrumpit is well enough known to need no explanation here, and besides I have already given up the gist of it in my blog post for August 2008. What you need to know is that my version is different – it keeps the same flavour as the original sources but deviates from the standard Rumpelstiltskin plotline at about the halfway point and is never quite the same.
